Whether you've always dreamed of playing the drums, are returning after years away, or feel frustrated by traditional lessons, our approach focuses on helping you understand rhythm, develop coordination, and build confidence behind the drum kit.

Led by experienced percussionist and music educator Sandy Crocker, our educational programs introduce a step-by-step approach to learning the drums through the SIPI Method.

Welcome to Crocker Drums

A Supportive Approach to Learning the Drums

Learning a musical instrument as an adult can feel overwhelming, especially when you're trying to coordinate your hands, feet, and timing all at once.

At Crocker Drums, we believe learning should begin with understanding rhythm rather than simply memorizing movements.

Our educational approach helps students explore musical timing, develop coordination, and build foundational drumming skills through a structured learning process.

Whether you're a complete beginner or returning to drumming, our goal is to provide clear instruction and a supportive learning experience.

Meet Sandy Crocker

Master Percussionist & Music Educator

With more than 30 years of experience in music education and live performance, Sandy Crocker brings extensive musical knowledge and practical teaching experience to Crocker Drums.

Throughout her career, Sandy has worked with students learning musical rhythm, coordination, and performance skills.

After seeing adult learners struggle with traditional instruction methods, she developed the SIPI Method to provide a more structured approach to understanding and playing rhythms.

Her teaching philosophy focuses on helping students learn the rhythm mentally before applying it physically on the drum kit.

At Crocker Drums, Sandy combines musical experience, clear instruction, and a supportive teaching style to help adult learners develop their abilities at their own pace.
